Mayo en Costa Rica

I haven't written in a while but this deserves celebrating - not to mention the fact that it serves as proof that we mean what we say (oh and that all great things take time)! In May we'll be sitting by the surf of Playa Hermosa, zip lining through the rainforest and exploring the exotic fruit filled glasses of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Muy bueno!...and a 'very [good] start to the New Year!'

I'm not changing the name but...

Kelly's thinking Greece and she has me convinced. Trade out the Capri in "30 Capri" to Santorini or Mykonos and it just doesn't have the same ring to it so I think we'll leave the name as is even if the location changes. And the countdown begins!

If that's life, then let it be and be and be. Foxfield 2010 came and went and the pictures document a weekend well spent. I miss you guys already.

February check-in & updates!

Word is, Ali is heading coming to D.C. the weekend of the 19th- - Julia's Georgetown friends are having their annual international party the 20th and I'm going to try to make it up for the night.

The following weekend, February 26th - Fiona's coming to Richmond. Kelly and I were talking and a hot air balloon ride (as cheesy as it sounds) is now on our list of things to do in 2010. Mais, c'est tres cher! It would help if we knew the guy that owns blue ridge balloons (or whatever it's called) - that might be the only way we're making the trip. Alternative idea, maybe we could take a bottle of wine and just watch other people take off and land...

Hot air balloon, or no, a bon-fire and beverage in my backyard was sounding simple and perfect. So I think that's the plan for the 27th. Jen, we miss you. If you can tear yourself away from the pure ecstasy that is the life of a public accountant in February, please come.

I think that takes care of plans for February (but let me know if I missed something). Oh and date for foxfield 2010 - April 24th.

Daydreaming

of a weekend at the beach complete with:

1) firepit

2) hooded sweatshirts and long walks

3) good wine

4) peppermint tea and yoga in the morning

5) laughing until our guts hurt

6) Mew's "Beach" (my new fav) playing in the background

I suggest late February or March. Miss you all terribly.

Ladies, we have officially added a new level of greatness to our collective resume! Julia is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia! The Kingdom...of Saudi Arabia.
